Finger Joint Table and Crowder Operator

Job overview

The Finger Joint Table and Crowder Operator role is onsite in Colfax, WI; pay is $20.50–$21.50 per hour. The operator works on the production team manufacturing glulam beams and columns for Timber Technologies Solutions. The role prepares and sequences lumber, checks and cuts out defects, monitors joint quality and glue application, and loads boards into the Crowder. Careful work at this production stage supports the quality and consistency of the finished structural products.

What you'll do

• Feed lumber onto the finger joint table in sequence using production sheets
• match species, grade, and quantity
• cut boards to remove defects
• check finger joint cutters for clean joints
• verify glue application
• load boards into the Crowder in the correct sequence and configuration
• maintain quality and consistency during production.
