What you'll do

• Maintain compliance with state childcare licensing regulations
• provide a safe and healthy environment
• prepare and clean cafeteria, recess, and Afterbell areas
• supervise indoor and outdoor communal areas
• follow sanitation rules and school behavior expectations
• follow schedules and lesson plans
• assist scholars with homework, recess, and activities
• promote positive behavior and homework goals
• address and escalate discipline issues
• maintain relationships with families and community organizations
• protect confidentiality and comply with FERPA.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 12 months of related experience or equivalent; Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and background clearance; First Aid/CPR and Food Handler’s Card; and 18 hours of annual training. Childcare experience is preferred.
