The medical assistant provides direct clinical support to physicians and advanced practice providers, helping maintain patient flow, accurate documentation, and efficient back-office operations for pain management and other listed appointment types.

What you'll do

• Obtain vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, and allergies
• prepare patients and rooms for visits and procedures
• assist with examinations, injections, blood draws, specimen collection, diagnostic testing, and other approved procedures
• prepare charts and coordinate provider orders and referrals
• maintain accurate EMR documentation
• process laboratory specimens
• maintain supplies and rooms
• answer designated clinical calls
• follow HIPAA, infection prevention, OSHA, and safety requirements.
