Through mentoring, observation, and supervised assistance, externs build practical skills and explore a future in veterinary emergency care.

What you'll do

• Learn from emergency veterinary professionals
• receive real-time mentoring from a credentialed veterinary technician
• shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care
• practice school proficiency-checklist skills with guidance.
