Metal Fabrication Project Manager

Job overview

The Metal Fabrication Project Manager role is onsite in Dickinson, TX; compensation is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The role oversees fabrication and field projects, coordinating shop production and field work to meet safety, quality, schedule, and customer-satisfaction goals. The project manager leads projects from pre-construction through close-out, coordinating foremen, subcontractors, personnel, materials, equipment, schedules, and costs. The role also supports production managers, maintains client relationships, and ensures quality and safety requirements are followed.

What you'll do

• Conduct job-site walks and estimating
• develop construction sequences
• supervise field personnel and plan manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules
• review submittals and coordinate quality-control plans
• manage subcontractor scopes, punch lists, and close-out
• lead pre-construction planning, constructability reviews, and site logistics
• enforce safety standards and report incidents
• maintain client relationships
• oversee shop scope, bills of materials, manufacturing methods, and quality compliance
• develop schedules, kickoff meetings, documentation, and technical manuals
• resolve manufacturing issues, manage costs, issue change orders, and maintain ERP project tracking.
