What you'll do
- Independently set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning and milling centers
- manage tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds, and process adjustments
- design and validate fixtures and workholding
- lead first article inspections and documentation
- perform in-process dimensional checks using CMM equipment and precision tools
- troubleshoot machining issues
- interpret GD&T and engineering drawings
- maintain production records
- improve efficiency and quality
- mentor less experienced machinists.
