Service Writer

What you'll do

• Open and close work orders with detailed information
• record and report mechanics’ time
• help cover service department calls
• attempt to resolve customer complaints
• schedule appointments
• assist with warranty repair paperwork
• coordinate special-order parts and subcontracted repairs with the parts department
• brief the following shift’s service writer
• keep the Service Manager informed of customer complaints and technician issues.
