The Program Director – Scout Camp role is onsite in Glen Jean, WV, in a summer camp setting. The posting lists $2,150–$2,250 per month. Summit Bechtel Reserve is an outdoor adventure and education facility where Justice National Scout Camp offers programs and activities for Scouts ages 10–17. The director leads and develops program-area staff and helps deliver safe, engaging camp experiences. Staff training, guest feedback, program participation, and end-of-season evaluation support the quality and improvement of camp activities.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and counsel Scout Camp program staff
• train staff in policies, procedures, leadership, and instructional skills
• communicate with guests and staff and adjust programs based on feedback
• provide staff evaluations
• prepare an end-of-season report with inventories and recommendations
• participate in setup, takedown, camp-wide and evening programs
• maintain a clean, organized, inspected, and safe work area
• follow staff handbook policies.
