Software Engineer

Job overview

The Software Engineer role is onsite in Alpharetta, GA; compensation is not specified. The engineer joins LoadUp’s backend engineering team to build its cloud-native platform for a technology-powered home services marketplace. The role exists to deliver resilient, maintainable microservices for customer-facing and internal applications. Working with Product, QA, and Operations, the engineer builds and operates tested production systems with attention to security, scalability, reliability, and code quality.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful microservices and APIs
• write documented code with a test-driven development focus
• translate product requirements into technical solutions
• build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment
• containerize services with Docker and deploy using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS
• support observability, autoscaling, and reliability
• collaborate on testing and security
• troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
