Voter Engagement Coordinator

The Voter Engagement Coordinator works in the Virginia Beach, VA area; compensation is $24 per hour. The role supports CASA in Action’s Elections Department, which develops voter engagement strategies to build electoral power in working-class communities. The coordinator leads daily field operations and supervises a canvass team, while also conducting voter contact work. The role helps inform and mobilize voters, tracks field outcomes, and supports recruitment and training so the team can carry out its voter engagement plans.

What you'll do

• Plan daily field operations with the Regional Voter Engagement Manager
• prepare canvassing supplies and lead team launch and debrief meetings
• supervise, coach, and train canvassers in the field
• conduct voter contact and enter conversation data
• report team outcomes, attendance, and timesheets
• assist with canvasser recruitment and pre-screen interviews
• track equipment and supplies
• coordinate campaign-benefiting events and collect media content for Communications staff.
