Wellness Instructor — Group Exercise

The Wellness Instructor role is onsite in Dover, PA, with pay of $12–$14 per hour. The position supports group exercise at the Bob Hoffman Dover YMCA and the YMCA of the Roses’ community wellness mission. The instructor leads safe, effective, and engaging land- or water-based classes for participants of varied ages and abilities. The role supports participant health and confidence through exercise instruction, modifications, equipment preparation, and community connections.

What you'll do

• Conduct land- or water-based wellness classes
• provide exercise modifications for participant safety and success
• build relationships with participants and YMCA staff
• maintain knowledge of wellness trends
• set up and maintain equipment
• keep attendance records
• follow emergency and safety procedures
• attend required meetings, workshops, and certifications
• maintain required certification.

Why this role
