The role also supports patient preparation, equipment care, quality assurance, and training of new sonographers.

What you'll do

• Review ultrasound schedules and patient information
• prepare patients and rooms
• perform pelvic and obstetrical ultrasounds and related procedures
• capture images, measurements, and Doppler samples
• create reports and present preliminary findings to physicians when abnormalities are found
• bill for procedures
• clean and sterilize probes
• request supplies
• report equipment problems
• complete quality assurance tasks
• assist with training new sonographers.
