Construction Laborer – Utility Services

Job overview

The Construction Laborer – Utility Services role is onsite in Auburn, MA. The stated hourly pay range is $24.51–$28.84. The position supports R.H. White Construction’s utility construction crews, whose work includes underground and above-ground utility piping. The laborer assists with layouts, assembly, and pipe installation and performs supporting construction tasks. The role contributes to safe, coordinated utility construction work and includes availability for emergency response and participation in the winter on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Follow company safety policies and code of conduct
• clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas
• lift and carry construction materials and supplies
• assist with joining, wrapping, and sealing pipe
• dig and level materials
• mix and spread concrete and asphalt
• remove forms, place pipe in trenches, jackhammer, and tap
• work cooperatively with the crew
• participate in emergency response assignments and the CSD Utility Winter Work On-Call Rotation Program.
