The Security Officer — Warehouse Access Control and Patrol role is onsite in South Portland, ME, with pay of $22.28 per hour. The full-time schedule is Monday through Thursday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The officer supports security at a retail distribution location for Allied Universal, a security and facility services company. The officer helps safeguard the distribution facility through unarmed patrols, access control, customer service, and incident response. The role documents patrols and unusual conditions and communicates with site contacts or emergency responders when needed.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to distribution personnel, drivers, vendors, and visitors
• conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter
• verify credentials and document entries and exits
• respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations
• prepare clear reports on patrols, incidents, and security concerns.
