Industrial Maintenance Technician – Packaging & Process Equipment

Job overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician role is onsite at the French’s Food Company plant in Springfield, MO. Pay is $32.76 per hour, with a $1.50 shift differential. The technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports packaging and processing equipment used to produce food brands including French’s and Frank’s RedHot. The role maintains safe, reliable, and efficient production and facility assets through troubleshooting, repairs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance. It also supports food safety and GMP standards and helps strengthen team capability through coaching production and junior maintenance technicians.

What you'll do

• Perform complex mechanical work and intermediate electrical troubleshooting, including basic PLC, Ladder Logic, and HMI tasks
• analyze breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions
• perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production and facility assets
• complete equipment rebuilds and adjustments
• read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• serve on the emergency brigade for fires, searches, or evacuations as required
• report food safety concerns
• coach production technicians and junior maintenance technicians.
