What you'll do

• Represent individuals and families in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy cases
• advise and support clients through the bankruptcy process
• review financial records and creditor information
• prepare and review petitions, schedules, motions, and court filings
• represent clients at creditor meetings, hearings, and court proceedings
• communicate and negotiate with trustees, creditors, and opposing counsel
• coordinate case management and client communications with legal support staff.

Why this role

Newer attorneys are welcome and receive training, mentorship, and guidance. Requires a Juris Doctor and an active Alabama or Georgia bar license in good standing, with Alabama licensure or eligibility to obtain it. Consumer bankruptcy experience is preferred but not required.
