The Registered Nurse (RN) — Outpatient Pain Care role is onsite in Atlanta, GA, with a Monday–Thursday schedule of 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Friday hours of 8 a.m.–12 p.m. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour. Southern Pain & Spine’s outpatient team provides interventional pain care intended to help patients reduce pain and improve function. The RN provides direct patient care and supports clinical and procedural workflows through assessment, care planning, monitoring, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team. Depending on assignment, the nurse may work in surgical preparation, procedural, or recovery areas and may operate C-arm/fluoroscopic equipment under surgeon direction when applicable.

- Gather patient histories and perform nursing assessments
- monitor vital signs, consciousness, and changes in condition
- communicate abnormal findings
- develop and update care plans
- educate patients and families
- coordinate with healthcare professionals
- when assigned, prepare procedure areas and assist physicians
- monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- follow infection-prevention and clinical protocols
- document care in the EHR
- operate C-arm/fluoroscopic equipment under surgeon direction when applicable.
