The Caregiver — Morning Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM role is onsite in Carmichael, CA. Pay is $16.90–$17.90 per hour. Fair Oaks Estates is a locally owned assisted living and memory care community serving residents in the Sacramento Valley. The caregiver helps residents begin the day with personal care, meals, mobility support, and activities while preserving their dignity and independence. The role also supports resident safety through timely reporting, documentation, and clear shift handoffs; medications are handled by Med Techs, not caregivers.

What you'll do

• Gently wake and greet residents
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and denture care, and incontinence care
• answer call lights
• support transfers and walking
• assist with breakfast and snacks
• support memory care routines
• report changes in condition to Med Techs or Care Managers
• help residents attend appointments, therapy, and activities
• assist with laundry, housekeeping, and sanitation
• document in Eldermark and hand off information to the afternoon shift
• respond to falls and behavioral changes per protocol.
