The Preschool Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Douglasville, GA; pay is $15–$19.50 per hour. The assistant supports Cadence Education's classroom programs and its work to create bright futures for children, families, and educators. The role helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom that supports children's developmental, behavioral, and learning needs. Working under classroom leadership, the assistant supports daily activities, curriculum implementation, family communication, and safety and licensing compliance.

What you'll do

• Support a positive and respectful classroom
• greet children and families
• assist with individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior plans as directed
• support curriculum planning and implementation
• communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using approved tools
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.
