The School Age Child Care Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Stevens Point, WI, and pays $12–$14 per hour. The school-year 2026–2027 schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:25–8:30 a.m. and 3:00–5:45 p.m. The YMCA program serves children in grades K–6.

What you'll do

• Assist with supervising and engaging children in daily activities
• support curriculum, games, crafts, and learning opportunities
• help maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment
• promote positive behavior
• assist with check-in and check-out, snacks, and transitions
• build relationships with children, families, and staff
• and help follow program policies and licensing standards.
