Overnight Building Monitor, Affordable Housing

Job overview

The Overnight Building Monitor, Affordable Housing role is full-time and onsite in Lynn, MA; pay is $20.50–$25 per hour. Bridgewell provides community housing and human services and supports residents in an affordable housing rooming house. The monitor maintains resident safety and building security during awake overnight hours, conducts rounds and wellness checks, responds to concerns and emergencies, documents incidents, and helps maintain a calm, clean environment. The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–3:00 AM.

What you'll do

• Conduct documented interior and exterior rounds
• monitor security cameras and building conditions
• respond to alarms, emergencies, and resident concerns
• document incidents and rent payments
• conduct wellness checks
• provide basic problem-solving and crisis intervention
• enforce house rules
• maintain shift notes and cleanliness
• report hazards and maintenance issues
• coordinate emergency response with first responders and on-call staff.
