What you'll do

• Transport, set up, and operate machining tools, equipment, and fixtures
• perform precision machining with portable milling machines, clamshell lathes, line boring systems, grinders, hydraulic tensioning systems, and hand and power tools
• measure components
• select, install, align, and remove cutting tools and fixtures
• assemble and disassemble equipment
• interpret blueprints and technical instructions
• operate lifting equipment and overhead cranes when required
• coordinate on-site work
• track parts and job progress
• complete inspection reports
• maintain a safe, clean work environment.
