The Behavioral Support Caregiver - Dementia Care role is onsite, serving client homes in the Fort Worth, TX area and surrounding communities. Pay is $16.00–$17.75 per hour. Benevolent Hearts Home Care provides specialized dementia training to support more positive interactions between caregivers and seniors. The caregiver provides one-on-one support to seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. The role combines personal care, dementia-friendly communication, engagement, mobility assistance, and observation so clients can receive individualized support in their homes and care concerns can be shared with the care team.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
• use redirection, validation, and dementia-friendly communication
• support clients experiencing cognitive and behavioral changes
• provide companionship and cognitive stimulation
• assist with mobility, transfers, meals, and feeding as needed
• accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed
• monitor changes and communicate concerns
• follow care plans and safety protocols.
