Global Security Operations Center Analyst

Job overview

The Global Security Operations Center Analyst role is an onsite, part-time position in Redwood City, CA, paying $35 per hour. The analyst supports one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients and Pinkerton’s mission to protect clients through enterprise risk management services. The role monitors and analyzes information about potential threats to client executives, operations, and assets. It turns open-source research, social media monitoring, and intelligence into timely assessments and reporting, and escalates critical matters to security management.

What you'll do

• Monitor open-source intelligence, social media, and client intelligence tools for threats
• monitor geopolitical events affecting travel, events, or operations
• research global security issues
• collect and validate intelligence
• assess information credibility
• produce threat and travel risk assessments
• provide GSOC news monitoring
• protect confidential information
• track projects
• escalate welfare, incident, and critical matters.
