Job overview

The Product Manager, AI and Emerging Technology role is hybrid, with up to 50% work from home, and may be based at any Compeer office in Illinois, Minnesota, or Wisconsin. Base pay is $118,500–$180,000 per year; the role is also eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Compeer Financial provides financial services supporting agriculture and rural communities. Within the Product Enablement team, the manager identifies where emerging AI capabilities can create meaningful value for clients and team members. The role tests opportunities through focused experiments, balances discovery with delivery, and helps teams implement AI responsibly with appropriate human oversight and controls.

What you'll do

• Build and refine a portfolio of AI-enabled opportunities grounded in client and business needs
• translate problems into testable hypotheses
• design experiments to reduce uncertainty
• define success measures and use evidence to advance, adapt, or stop ideas
• assess appropriate AI autonomy and human oversight
• partner with technology, data, security, risk, business teams, and product leaders
• develop reusable practices and guidance for AI exploration.
