The Wildlife Ambassador Enrichment Intern role is an onsite, part-time unpaid internship in Massillon, OH, running for 14 weeks from August through December 2026. Stark Parks’ Wildlife Conservation Center provides hands-on learning in animal care and enrichment. Under close supervision, the intern learns species-specific enrichment practices and supports care for education animals and some rehabilitation animals. The internship also includes a featured enrichment project and opportunities to develop customer service, communication, listening, and leadership skills through public interactions.

What you'll do

• Learn about Ohio native wildlife, human-wildlife conflicts, non-lethal solutions, and wildlife rehabilitation regulations
• under close supervision, assist with education-animal care, cleaning, diets, and enrichment
• help with general duties such as laundry, dishes, and cage or equipment cleaning as needed
• create and complete a featured enrichment project
• interact with customers.
