What you'll do

• Evaluate patient needs with physicians
• formulate device designs and select materials
• take casts and measurements and modify models
• fit and align devices
• assess and adjust fit, function, and medical efficacy
• instruct patients in device use
• follow up with patients and physicians
• provide in-service training
• maintain clinical notes and comply with safety and regulatory requirements. The role may include on-call work, hospital calls, or floating between clinics.
