What you'll do

• Greet and check in patients
• verify and update patient demographics
• assist with consent forms
• process cash and credit-card payments
• initiate calls and pages and triage phone calls
• assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• and perform other customer-service or clerical duties. The schedule may include 8- or 12-hour shifts between 7 AM and 11 PM, with at least six shifts in each eight-week scheduling period, at least one weekend shift, and one summer and one winter holiday shift when needed.
