The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $120,000–$150,000 per year. ERC Pathlight provides treatment for eating disorders and mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. Under physician supervision, the practitioner evaluates patients, develops and supports treatment plans, orders medications and screenings within applicable limits, and documents care. The role contributes psychiatric expertise to a multidisciplinary team and supports patient advocacy and quality care; the position includes approximately five on-call weekends per year and travel up to 25%.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and monitor patients’ psychiatric conditions
• review records and take psychiatric and medical histories
• perform examinations
• contribute to patient care plans
• document care and maintain records
• order medications within statutory limits
• initiate or direct screenings and psychological assessments when appropriate
• collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team
• advocate for patients and participate in insurance peer reviews
• maintain quality and safety standards.
