What you'll do

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming mechanical components, subassemblies, and materials
• operate SmartScope or similar measurement systems and precision tools
• interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• verify supplier certifications and traceability
• identify, isolate, and document nonconforming materials and generate NCRs
• maintain inspection records and reports
• collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing
• provide guidance to Level I inspectors
• support process improvement and compliance.
