What you'll do

• Prepare operating rooms and verify equipment
• assist with patient positioning and sterile-field setup
• verify patient and procedure information
• pass instruments and supplies during procedures
• maintain the sterile environment and manage the surgical field
• handle specimens and document intraoperative activities
• assist with equipment breakdown and reprocessing
• dispose of biohazard materials, restock supplies, and support transitions between cases.
