Payroll Specialist — Certified and Multi-State Payroll

What you'll do

• Administer the electronic timekeeping system
• enter payroll data
• reconcile payroll before transmission and validate reports
• process payroll and manual checks or ACH payments as needed
• prepare certified payroll reports across multiple states
• report hours, wages, and union payments
• audit subcontractor certified payroll
• calculate payroll liabilities and deductions
• respond to payroll inquiries
• reconcile general ledger balances and prepare journal entries
• assist with audits
• prepare year-end reporting such as W-2 and W-2C forms.
