Mid-Level Machinist

The Mid-Level Machinist role is onsite in Tacoma, WA, with compensation of $30–$33 per hour. The role sets up and operates machine tools and machining centers, interprets drawings and specifications, monitors machine operation, and verifies finished work. This work supports accurate, safe production of machined parts.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual and numerical control machines and machining centers
• prepare and operate machine tools such as grinders, mills, drill presses, and lathes
• interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, operation sequence, and setup requirements
• monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, adjust controls, and verify specifications.
