The role supports safe, high-quality patient outcomes through clinical care, infection control, patient education, and participation in unit improvement activities.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to set health goals and revise care plans
- provide nursing care consistent with unit and institutional standards
- participate in performance improvement
- provide emotional and educational support to patients and families
- follow infection-control and medication procedures
- maintain nursing supplies
- serve in the rotational charge nurse role after the six-month orientation period with nurse manager approval.
