The Data Analyst — Data Integration & Enablement role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT. The posting describes a 6–12 month contract and pay of $65–$70 per hour. The analyst supports a major financial services client and its financial and regulatory reporting, enterprise analytics, and data-driven initiatives. The role exists to build a trusted data foundation by analyzing source systems, defining integration requirements, validating data quality, and documenting data flows. It contributes to accurate, traceable information for downstream reporting and analytics across enterprise data platforms.

What you'll do

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate needs into data requirements
• profile source systems using SQL and Python
• document source-to-target data flows, mappings, transformation rules, metadata, business definitions, and lineage
• perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and quality controls
• automate profiling, validation, reconciliation, and reporting
• troubleshoot data issues and conduct root cause analysis
• contribute to modernization initiatives using dbt, Databricks on GCP, Data Mesh, and AI/GenAI
• promote documentation and data quality practices.
