Pipe Superintendent / Project Manager

The Pipe Superintendent / Project Manager role is onsite in Lafayette, IN, and work in the surrounding area. Compensation is $36–$42 per hour. The Kelly Group’s work includes process piping fabrication and installation. The role leads piping crews and manages project execution, from estimating and scope development through schedule and cost monitoring. It supports safe, organized delivery of piping systems, including work involving boilers, pressure vessels, and high- and low-pressure piping.

What you'll do

• Supervise fabrication and installation of piping systems
• attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs
• estimate pipe fabrication and installation
• manage and plan project scopes of work at project locations
• read blueprints and interpret isometric and P&ID drawings
• use AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Autodesk applications
• develop project scopes and identify materials and equipment
• monitor cost and schedule
• demonstrate safe work practices and conduct regular safety meetings.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of experience leading process piping crews and a valid driver’s license with a record acceptable to the company’s insurer. OSHA 10-hour or equivalent training is preferred.
