AP3 Exit Operator

The AP3 Exit Operator role is onsite in Ghent, KY. Compensation is not specified. The operator supports North American Stainless’s AP3 unit and its quality and productivity goals. The role monitors coils through the line, coordinates with entry and pickling/SKP operators, and completes coiling, identification, and documentation tasks. Following work instructions and safety requirements helps maintain product quality, production flow, and a safe work area.

What you'll do

• Check the coil schedule and confirm the correct coil is on the line
• receive coil information and observe incoming defects
• monitor coils for steering and defects and correct as necessary
• work with Pickling/SKP and Trim operators during operations and setups
• start coils to the coiler reel and insert interleaving paper and cores
• maintain supplies
• identify exiting coils and complete machine sheets
• follow safety rules and perform assigned housekeeping and maintenance.
