Apartment Maintenance Technician II

Job overview

The Apartment Maintenance Technician II role is onsite at Deer Park and Jackson Creek Station in Columbia, SC, with pay of $23–$26 per hour. The position supports the community management team in maintaining the physical assets of the apartment communities. The technician handles repairs, preventive maintenance, apartment make-readies, and renovation support to keep units and shared spaces safe and ready for residents. The role also responds to emergency maintenance issues and coordinates with residents, vendors, and colleagues.

What you'll do

• Perform repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and pools
• complete work orders and prioritize service requests
• prepare apartments for move-in
• conduct property walks
• maintain grounds and common areas
• assist with preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep
• support inventory and budget awareness
• coordinate vendors and warranty work
• respond to emergency maintenance issues
• communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
