The Senior Engineer, Storage (File & Block) role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with a base salary range of $182,000–$242,000 per year. The engineer designs, builds, and operates scalable multi-tenant file and block storage services, including data paths and control planes. The role improves storage performance, reliability, and usability for customer and internal workloads, working across platform, product, infrastructure, and operations teams.

What you'll do

• Own the file-system data path and improve NFS reliability and performance
• build durable block storage services
• deliver file and block storage through Kubernetes and CSI
• develop control-plane capabilities for tenancy, quotas, QoS, snapshots, key management, audit, and lifecycle policy
• improve reliability, durability, and observability
• collaborate across platform, product, and infrastructure teams
• mentor engineers.
