Maintenance Technician, First Shift

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Davenport, IA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $22–$25 per hour. The technician maintains building systems and equipment at Genesis Medical Center, addressing repairs and preventive maintenance to support a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot equipment
• replace plumbing fixtures and light fixtures
• clear drains and pipes and address leaks
• adjust building automation systems
• test and inspect generators
• replace ceiling tiles
• use drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals to diagnose and repair issues
• coordinate specialized work with vendors and contractors
• perform preventive maintenance on emergency power and lighting, HVAC, ice machines, refrigerators, and other building systems
• inspect buildings and mechanical rooms.
