Auto Body Technician

The Auto Body Technician is an onsite role based in Wichita, KS. Compensation is $21.00 - $30.00 per hour (Flat Rate), supporting the collision and glass services department at Gerber Collision & Glass. This role exists to provide an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles, contributing to the facility's KPIs and maintaining the company's standards for quality and speed.

What you'll do

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove and replace damaged sections and parts.
• Weld and attach parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
