What you'll do

• Perform structural configuration trade studies
• define external and internal loads and document load paths
• size primary and secondary structures and estimate mass
• develop, verify, and maintain finite element models
• perform classical hand calculations, fatigue and damage-tolerance assessments
• author stress reports and calculate margins of safety
• support test scope and manufacturing methods
• present findings at design reviews
• champion analysis practices and mentor junior engineers.
