What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC or conventional machines
• interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, process documentation, and job orders
• use precision measuring equipment and tooling
• perform tool grinding and sharpening and OD/ID grinding
• determine work-order run sequence to meet production schedules
• guide, coach, or train less experienced machinists, trainees, and machine operators
• follow safety procedures.
