• develop and implement maintenance procedures
• inspect facilities and identify issues
• check electrical and hydraulic systems
• plan repair and installation work
• allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
• monitor inventory and order supplies
• manage budgets and expenses
• coordinate contractors and service providers
• maintain logs and reports
• schedule work, prioritize job orders, improve procedures, and direct staff training.
