What you'll do

• Work on fire apparatus and emergency vehicles
• perform pump and manifold rebuilds, tank repair disassembly, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance services, generator troubleshooting, aerial ladder testing and repairs, cable adjustments, and hydraulic diagnostics
• supervise technicians and oversee repairs
• inspect and quality-check completed work
• manage shop operations
• enforce safety procedures
• communicate work status to officers and customers.
