Service Technician — Property Facilities Maintenance

Job overview

The Service Technician role is onsite in Champaign, IL, and compensation is $22 per hour. The technician supports American Campus Communities’ property facilities maintenance team, helping keep the property well maintained for residents. The role exists to complete work orders and preventive maintenance, inspect shared areas and apartments, and help sustain safe, clean property operations. It also supports property turns, vendor coordination, equipment upkeep, and general property appearance.

What you'll do

• Complete and close out work orders
• assist with property turns and vendor coordination
• perform assigned preventive maintenance
• inspect public areas and resident apartments
• safely operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment
• escort vendors
• keep shop and storage areas orderly
• assist with snow removal, landscaping, curb appeal, trash collection, and cleaning as assigned.
