What you'll do

• Lead design of normal, emergency and standby power distribution systems
• document electrical calculations
• design lighting, fire alarm and low-voltage systems
• produce bid documents
• procure long-lead lighting and power distribution equipment
• manage the electrical bid process
• observe construction and assist with startup
• conduct project planning and feasibility studies
• support department standards
• research electrical materials and best practices
• assist with interviewing and hiring
• handle complex issues and advise subordinate team members.
