Medical Assistant (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant)

What you'll do

• Obtain patient vital signs and medical histories
• prepare patients for exams
• explain prescribed procedures and treatments
• perform ordered tests, administer prescribed medications and treatments, draw blood, and prepare lab samples
• conduct lab quality controls and equipment maintenance
• perform drug screening procedures
• document immunizations
• coordinate referrals and pre-certifications as needed
• prepare exam rooms
• sterilize instruments and supplies
• and maintain accurate documentation.
