The Fabrication Mechanic – Trim Cut role is onsite in Laconia, NH. Compensation is not specified. The position joins the STS Aerospace team in fabricating metal tubing for aerospace installations. The mechanic fabricates and repairs rigid and flexible metal tube assemblies to specifications, using shop equipment and interpreting blueprints and process instructions. The role also checks materials and finished products for dimensional and visual conformance and maintains accurate fixtures.

What you'll do

• Cut, grind, form, deburr, clean, swage, and polish rigid and flexible metal tubing to specifications. Inspect materials, assemblies, tube details, components, and finished products against blueprints, customer instructions, and company procedures. Maintain mylar fixtures
• prepare, assemble, install, salvage, and repair tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products. Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment, including swagers. Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, and process sheets.
