What you'll do

• Provide pastoral care and spiritual counseling to hospice patients, families, caregivers, and staff
• assess spiritual needs
• provide care on referral or chaplain initiative
• refer people seeking ministry from another faith perspective to appropriate community clergy
• coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• participate in IDT meetings
• and contribute to assessment, education, and resolution of hospice medical ethics issues. Requirements include theological coursework and/or at least two years of pastoral ministry, a valid driver’s license, pastoral assessment skills, and current CPR certification.
